Very nice. Helps to have a photo of the base even if there are no marks

Thank you both, I’ve have lots of bits that I’ve had for years and was having a clear out so thought I’d find out what they are before I give to charity or keep. This is a great site and wish I had checked years ago before giving my Chinese collection to charity

Re: Chinese Tea Bowl?
I've deleted the duplicates. The blue tint in the glaze, and style of decoration points to 18thC English porcelain, but I'm not familiar with the factories

Could be. the border design round the rim is the usual giveaway.
Check against other examples.
Re: Chinese Tea Bowl?
Going by the cross pattern inside the top bowl rim and underglaze blue Liverpool is a good shout.

Re: Chinese Tea Bowl?
Oh thank you Potterymad, it does look similar, I didn’t realise it was so old as it’s always looked like it was made yesterday. I think I will keep it

Re: Chinese Tea Bowl?
Lot of early Bow, Liverpool, Lowestoft, Plymouth, Worcester etc were unmarked so very hard to pin point to the exact factory. I confident it's Liverpool but who knows, I dare say you could find an blue & white expert online who would ID the bowl, even free or for a small fee. Anyway a lovely piece to haveMM wrote:Oh thank you Potterymad, it does look similar, I didn’t realise it was so old as it’s always looked like it was made yesterday. I think I will keep it

Re: Chinese Tea Bowl?
Thank you everyone, at least I know more about it, I’ve always liked it and held on to it when getting rid of stuff before so maybe instinct kicked in.
