MC mark, dish with ferns. Michael Cardew? - Carol Metcalfe

I have recently had this plate appraised as the work of micheal cardew by a Hansons auctioneers specialist.
But wondering what you all think as I can't find anything similar...

Hansons are not Studio pottery specialists. That is putting it politely! If this 'identification' is their general level. Then one is even less impressed/ Where do you start? Completely wrong style, wrong design, wrong clay, wrong dish completely wrong mark1  Michael Cardew  always used a pottery mark to go with his personal one. Winchcombe, Abuja, or Wenford Bridge.
            Sorry but, it is just not his.

Hey thanks new here..... I did question this as I couldn't find anything like this in his collections.
The front stamp looks like his....but the back definitely not!
Do you have any idea of the possible maker or origin as I'm stumped haha

Definitely not by Michael Cardew. Similar to Molly Curley’s mark but not her usual style
