Slipware cheese dome with indistinct mark, turkey? Empty Slipware cheese dome with indistinct mark, turkey?

I found this lovely slipware pottery cheese dome. It has a mark underneath but it's quite faint and so doesn't photograph well. Any ideas?

Probably 1970's. Cheese domes went out of fashion with the widespread use of fridges. An intriguing and complicated looking mark!

The mark looks like a turkey. Not one I've seen before. Might be French
