Stoneware Jug, VM mark, can anyone identify the potter? Empty Stoneware Jug, VM mark, can anyone identify the potter?

Stoneware jug, 18cm tall, 9cm diameter rim & base, 16cm wide including handle, maximum diameter 13cm weighs 950g

I have not been able to track down the potter for this jug, clear mark but open to inerpretation.

Any suggestions welcome.
