Owl / bird mark, Brian Paul Bearne? Empty Owl / bird mark, Brian Paul Bearne?

Flying bird or owl mark. Not in the British Studio Pottery Marks book, but I was told it was by Brian Paul Bearne and the mark is in Godden, however it's not in my copy of Godden so moving it to the ID My Pottery section from the Brian Paul Bearne thread until it's resolved

Excellent  There are 3 owl stamps in the Marks book for Bearne but I've not seen any of them, and the PW mark really throws the spanner in the works. I wonder if there's any link to Eleanor Whittall? She's not in the 3rd edn of the Marks book, 2nd edn has her owl and EEW stamps, and Godden just has her owl stamp
