Relief and copper wire (?) wall art signed “ Carlier.P”
Hi everyone,
I don’t have much knowledge about this type of object whatsoever, so maybe one of you can help me. A piece of wall art that has a triplex back and seems to be combining some sort of paint/other substance that is raised to create the relief of the spider web, and the use of copper wire for the flowers and the signature. It is signed “ Carlier.P”. I cannot find any info online. Does anyone know in what period this type of wall art was produced (it seems an art deco-ish decor, then again, wall object with copper wire seem to have been in style much later, like 70s, but different style and usually with using nails to hold the wire). Does the name Carlier mean anything to any of you? Much appreciated!
