Hi, Can anyone help ID this jug? I thought it might be Stonehill Pottery but the mark doesn't quite look right. Thanks.

No, not Stoneshill, but it looks to be salt-glazed.

Zelda Mowat used an SP mark for her Strathdon Pottery which was saltglazed, but not in this font.
We probably haven't seen all the marks used by Maltby, but I don't think he made saltglazed pots.

John Maltby never made any Salt Glaze. Its a bit of a marketing decision one supposes. Salt glazing had a more limited market than Genaral Leach style pottery.
