JD mark. Could this be John Dermer?
Hi, I recently bought this cup and saucer set from a charity shop because I liked it. Now, though, i'm trying to find out who the maker is. There is a clear stamp JD in a circle underneath the cups. The only maker I've found with that stamp is the well known Australian potter John Dermer. However, the cups look 1970's style and, interestingly, John Dermer was over in the UK then working for John Leach's studio pottery. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Kit

Also this thread, which as a similar JD mark -

It doesn't match John Davey's mark, which was in a square. Similar to John Dunn's mark but he made raku so not his style of pottery.
John Dermer's mark for comparison; unfortunately I cant find any cups and saucers by him for comparison
