Eggshell porcelain cup and saucer.. date, origin? Empty Eggshell porcelain cup and saucer.. date, origin?

Found a very thin eggshell porcelain teacup with saucer, I have no idea about its age or origin. Japanese? Or not at all? Is it old? Or new? No markings. Appreciate any insights! Thanks. Myra.

Yes, looks Japanese. Helps to have a photo of the base even if there’s no mark

Thanks Naomi, see below photos of base of cup and saucer. There is a small brown speck on the bottom side of the saucer I just noticed (not on the base but more to the side)
