Help Identifying the Artist of this Bretby Owl Vase

Hi,
I have recently purchased a large 10 x 7 inch Bretby vase that has the unusual decoration of two owls. One is in a moonlit scene between two tress and the other is in flight. Also which I find quite unusual is that the decoration is in thick enamels.
Would you be able to find out for me the artist and the red glaze to the vase.

Sadly there is no pattern number to the vase. But beside the Bretby mark to the right there is a letter within a circle.

So the decoration is Over the glaze?
Has it scratched? Will it scratch? or has it been fired on?

Yes, I was wondering if it was a later overpainting by a previous owner

In reply to the owl decoration which i am no expert, the decoration is over the glaze,
it appears fired on and does not scratch off.
I feel that there is a lighter red colour around the moon to depict the moonlight plus the painted gilt moon has an area of loss and is totally white underneath which would have been original.
