Peter Wills bowl?
I’d came across this bowl being sold by a dealer for a not insignificant sum. They state it’s by Peter Wills in the manner of Lucy Rie. The provenance is their son who is a pottery collector, however he is not available at this time.
The mark to the base is rather indistinguishable, it’s not in the manner of the Wills base signatures, while I know he has stamped pieces, the price on this makes it important to attribute to a maker.
Apologies for the pictures, it’s virtually impossible to photograph. I’ve emailed Peter’s studio but wondered if anyone with more experience of his pieces might have an idea.
Thank you

I think it's more likely to be by Cath Broadway, Elm House Studio

Thank you Naomi. I’ve just received a very kind email from Peter and it’s definitely not by him. He asked me to let the dealer know and gave me some great information on identifying his work. At in excess of £200 it could have proved an expensive endeavour.
