Christopher Dresser signature??? If not who?
So I have a jug which looks distinctly turn of the century. I'm afraid at the moment I only have a photo of the base signature to upload. It doesn't look exactly like any of the very neat Christopher Dresser signatures (I'm guessing a lot of these were a stamped mark). But I'm wondering if it could be a freehand signature of his?? If not does anyone recognise it as anyone else? I'll try to upload more photos of the actual jug when I have them (it has the usual colourful drip glazes.)

Checking against his recorded mark it's not his signature

yes I know a lot of them are stamped, though there are some freehand variations so not sure...

Well for starters I believe it's a G.

Well it certainly looks like a piece of early 20thC art pottery, from the classical shape
and the base. It may not be British though. Could even read Pulser or similr?

I think it's French or Belgium. It seems familiar.
Nothing like the pottery made to Dresser's designs either.
