Leather Swivel ID required
This swivel chair has been in one of the flats from we think the 70's ,the arms are wooden , 5 star legs look like wood but are metal , anybody any Ideas as to who made it , Ed

Hello Ed
The look seems to fit either Norwegian or Danish design. Did you check under the arms or literally under the feet for any stamps or labels? A view of the back of the chair could also help with ID in terms of country of provenance.

MMMMmmmm, the lack of a canvas backing would eliminate Norway and Denmark as a possible country of origin. Those country tend to use a strong canvas backing, although there is usually a difference in the way it is attached to frame. Could be a locally made (UK) product?

I have recently sold one exactly the same. Had a label on it the simply read 'MobelFabrik Made in Sweden'.
