Royal Copenhagen Dish - Signed SV - 3 Waves - No Crown

Hi

I have a large 26cm square dish with counter scene.

Its marked with 3 waves and a Beehive with Denmark underneath - no crown. Initialled SV. Impressed 2885

I have had no luck with artist or age though think its early.

the dish carries also Aluminia stamp . Aluminia faience belongs to Royal Copenhagen . As the word Denmark appeared under the stamp only after 1930, we may guess that the dish is made after 1930. as concerns the signature, i don't think it is a SV, i think it belongs to Niels Thorsson (depends how you watch it)

Thats interesting, another source says the diamond mark is from the Royal Copenhagen School so could be an early student piece by Nils Thorsson perhaps.
