Clarecraft Wizard?

Hi. Can anyone tell me if this is a Bernhard Pearson Clarecraft wizard? I bought it in the 80’s but know nothing about him!

It looks right. Is there a mark on the base?

The base has always had green felt on it to protect it. I might pluck up courage to peel it away and have a peek!
