Czechoslovakia pottery
My Czechoslovakian made Native American Chief. An inherited piece which I cherish. Flat backed I assume for the mantlepiece. Number 14152 stamp impressed on base along with an impressed other mark hard to describe - a sort of squashed or ovoid B or even 8 for want of better description - which is just above stamp of 'Made in Czechoslovakia'. White clay and I would say completely hand painted. About 18cms to the tallest point. The colour has proved difficult to capture properly and the colour is slightly darker than it appears in the front face photo below - his face is actually appreciably darker in tone than his clothing!

Any ideas on black and white porcelain vase with black & yellow label
This piece has driven us crazy for several years. Light in weight, 18.4 cm. tall with its original N or H black and yellow label. The true color is the first image, I didn't flash the base image. We don't even have an idea on continent, but probably European. Many thanks up front.
Jack

Re: Czechoslovakia pottery
i believe this is by Keramia of Czechoslovakia (from a place called Znaim). I had a piece with this label and some one gave that info, but i can't confirm it or tell you anything more about the factory.

Re: Czechoslovakia pottery
I know it's Kitsch, but I like the colours. And it was only 50p

Impressed 'Czechoslovakia' and a number on the base.
