SPALDING VC mark posy vase
Hi,
despite repeated attempts, have been unable to identify the maker of this:
Small glazed stoneware(?) waisted posy vase, - in muted pale-brown shades
just under 100mm (h) x 70mm (w) - weighs 246g
impressed Maker's Marks:
- lower-case "v" (or possibly l/c Greek letter upsilon?) and capitalised C - on either side of a central indent
with "SPALDING." in smaller capitals on the base rim

Any suggestions...?
