Studio pottery Fosters and possibly broadstairs? Empty Studio pottery Fosters and possibly broadstairs?

Post by Alibobs November 7th 2022, 4:57 pm

Hi, I have this rectangular tray plate.
It has the look of Broadstairs pottery and what looks like DV hand marked on the base.
Does anyone recognise the piece and can confirm if it is what I think? Couldn't find any examples of it online and I may be wrong about the mark.
Kind regards Alison

Broastairs pottery was David Constantine White, and he has an impressed DW mark. which would probably go with your DV. Broadstairs did have a very recognisable style, and you used to a fair amount of it around in Boot sales in the South 20 years ago,
