I would guess French Late 19th Century ?

Can you take some stright on pix from further away? All too close.
Looks somewhat arts and crafts style.

Nice thing, Portugal made a lot of copper stuff like this also.

Yes what I like about it is the fact that its not been polished and still holds original patina and even the black soot on the bottom

I agree from a distance does have a arts and crafts look , which I did not notice before

The dilemma is any stamp or makers mark will be on the base underneath years of use ( And I can't bring myself to clean that off )
