Curious Coin And Signature on Vase, help please?

I found this vase a while back, and have been trying to place it ever since. I'll upload more pictures as needed since this board limits uploads.
As you can see, this has the strangest glass logo "coin" insert into the base. It *looks* like it's signed..."Mark Bushfield"?
I'll try to upload more photos, but the system is challenging...

Cape Cod Glassworks? Bill Burchfield? The front name could be initials M.W. or some attempt to abbreviate William while etching into glass. I could be wrong
