Arthur Wood Item Pattern 5354 Empty Arthur Wood Item Pattern 5354

Hi, I just purchased this lovely Arthur Wood item.  I am looking to find out what it is and how old.  The Height of the item is 6cm and diameter 14cm.  It has a lovely vivid orange and green design.

Hi, thanks for replying. That was my initial thought but there is no handle to lift off and couldn't find anything similar on the web.

Hi….it’s a small flower wall pocket….the notch on the back is for it to hang or you could string it to hang and the small oblong gap is for a small posy or similar although I doubt they were used for flowers very often….1970s I think….

I found one described as a string holder, but it looks more like a slot for scissors.

Thought the same, is there a little hole at the bottom for string? can't see from the photos.
