Decanter Empty Decanter

Clear glass decanter appears to have a seam on one side, the top appears to have a pouring edge.
The bottom has a mark looks like a T with an umbrella above it.
All the edges are smooth.
Body 3 1/4” square at bottom 3 3/8” at top 5 5/8” tall
Neck 1 1/2” top 2” across
Stopper 2 1/“ tall 3” across stopper is sanded
Seams top two seams, neck two seams, the body appears to have four seams not all equally visible.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that looks like a big chip on the rim, not what you think it is for, a pouring edge.

That is what I thought originally except it is shaped like a groove a channel have you that is deeper in the center.
I have run my finger over it there are no sharp edges the only conclusion is it is for pouring the liquid out of the decanter.

I think it's a chip that a previous owner has smoothed off so they could continue using it. Press moulded decoration. I'm sorry, I don't know the maker
