Studio Pottery Makers Mark 'CS' Empty Studio Pottery Makers Mark 'CS'

Look at this brutal boy! He's quite big at 31cm high and has an incised mark (not impressed) to the bottom 'CS' (at least it looks like an 'S' inside a larger 'C' to me). I've been through all the likely suspects but can't find anything that quite matches. Do any of the geniuses on here recognise him (or her!)?
