Re: Large Plates Blue/White
Hello, after a quick search, I think it is a pattern from Villeroy & Boch Dresden Blue Onion from the beginning of the 20th century. But I am not sure if your plate is an original or a modern remake. Hopefully this helps you with your search.
Greetings, Rob

Re: Large Plates Blue/White
Really appreciated. Thanks Rob. They do have age Rob. Just the feel and look when handled are good markers. Photos don't show them at their best.
I will go down the V&B route. Shame about the 3 marks on the edge though.

Re: Large Plates Blue/White
It's a case of almost but not quite in the design. Meissen do similar too. V&B ones again similar but they all seem to be marked as well. Well spotted Rob. The design must have been popular and adopted by other firms. Bit like 'Indian Tree' design used by a number of factories A bit more research needed but a great start. Thanks
