Small brass-bound bowl - which country? Empty Small brass-bound bowl - which country?

Hi, a small brass-bound bowl, nothing special but rather pretty, not a style I’ve come across before. I’d love to know - was this initially with the brass edging or was that a later addition, and is it possible to say where it’s from? Thanks

I think it’s Moroccan; it looks similar to Safi pottery from Morocco
