A large Tankard, with an unusual distinctive impressed and incised design. Sure I've seen this before somewhere.

No the base dimples are just part of the design. you can even see the fingerprint
under the glaze. It has a soapy feel like soda glaze, amd maybe coil-built with
the spiral ribs. There is just something about it.

And now a teabowl turns up with a mark, so maybe local?
Either MA/AM or WV/VW, depending on which way up.
