Bronze Maker's Mark 'VM'?
Hello again,
Does anyone recognise the maker's mark on this 23cm tall patinated bronze cubist chap? It looks like a 'VM' or possible just an 'M' with a leading tail (or even a 'W' if you turn it upside down!). Again, trawling through the usual places hasn't helped me at all. I did find a similar statue but I'm 99% sure it has been wrongly attributed to Frederic Schopin who died before the cubist movement even started. Thank-you!

And I've just realised I've posted this in the wrong place - it's obviously bronze, not pottery. Please don't put me in 20th Century Forum jail!
