Inuit? - Three carved stone shoes, moccasins
Three carved stone moccasins with holes which are also carved. Seem to be made from the same slab of schist rock. Inuit, maybe? Unmarked except for the remains of £2 written in marker pen on the soles. Distinctive shoe design but I'm not finding them amongst Inuit or Native American moccasins. Northern European, maybe?

Inuit would wear sealskin boots. and their carvings don't tend to attempt to be so realistic, they are much more abstract

Very true. I’m not finding anything similar from cold regions; not much protection from snow & ice, although Canadian is still possible.
I don’t think it’s African soapstone. It looks like a schist where it’s chipped on the edge.
There are a handful of Native American and Chinese carved shoes but not in this style.
