John Marin-like abstract cityscape watercolor.

Its not John Marin (D. 1953), but seems similar to me.  I’ve looked through French, Spanish and Catalan painters, but not seeing a name that appears to have a B and a Z  (assuming that’s the signature at the bottom, and that I’ve correctly identified a B and Z)!  Anyway, I just love this NY(?) abstract and would like to know who painted it.  I’m tempted to open up the back, but haven’t yet…just cut under some tape that hid writing that I hoped would help identify the artist, but no luck.  Thanks for looking!
