Hi

I have here a large Aubergine Slab Vase that has a Whitefriars looking base and polished pontil.

The rim is thick and slightly undulating and really feels and looks like Whitefriars but the style is not familiar to me and I cannot find another similar.

It therefore can't be a copy I am thinking.

Any ideas at all.

Not a known Whitefriars shape. Is it cased clear at the bottom?
A pic taken on a windowsill might help.

Hi DD

Please see photos, it is thinly clear cased at base. Colour looks right compared to other Aubergine piece I have.
