Studio pottery stoneware lidded jar impressed mark Empty Studio pottery stoneware lidded jar impressed mark

Studio pottery stoneware lidded jar impressed mark,
Well potted, white glaze with impressed or rouletted decoration .
Mark could be E or C with 4 dots - at each corner.
Or maybe it’s just partial what I’m seeing.

Looks like a Celtic "E", so maybe Irish or Scottish.
