Set of 4 clay (?) sculpted Irish author heads Empty Set of 4 clay (?) sculpted Irish author heads

Does anyone know what the correct name is for this kind of thing? It’s a set of four clay (I think) sculpted heads of Irish authors that have been over painted with metallic paint.

They are signed though I can’t make out the signature.

I think they are made of plaster; from a mould. Possibly a bmn monogram but unfortunately not one I've come across before. It's possible the person who produced the heads is not the person who originally made the moulds.
