tall handmade glass vases or ???

has anybody seen glass designs like the attached

I bought 10 pieces and maybe they are simply vases?

the opening in the top limits what they could be used for

they are obviously handmade as each vase has a slightly different shape with pronounced ribbing that is lightly frosted and there is a knife mark pontil

They look like light shades, made to fit round bulbs in a multi-bulb light fixture, but then the ends would be open?

thanks for the reply and I agree with you, that is primarily what I collect - LIGHTING

there were more pieces to buy, I could only justify buying 10 because I do not understand what they were used for

again they might just be a peculiarly shaped vases?
