Hello to everyone, new to this forum and thank you for having us.
Just love studio glass and ceramics and keen to know as much as possible...

Does anyone have knowledge of this mark ?
Really love the piece and I hope someone can help

Thanks,

Lovely piece. We've had the mark before but I'm afraid it is still unidentified.

It might be from abroad; Scandinavian or Irish, maybe. Or it might be a potter who's mark went unrecorded between the first two editions of the British Studio Pottery Marks book (1970s-90s). We just have to hope one turns up with a label.

Oh thanks for that, I saw that post which led me here. We love the piece and I know what you mean about it's possible origin. I do love a mystery and will let you know if I find out anything else. Thanks again.

Beautiful! I think they look more of an Irish than Scandinavian couple. She does love his beard!

I’d forgotten about my chicken plate. Possibly bought in London for what that’s worth. It was very heavy but this looks a bit finer and better decorated.

Hey there I know what you mean, we do the same and it's pleasant having these come into your life and pass through your hands. Some hang about a long time - others not, the upside 😊😊😊
