One more signature - can a specific potter be identified from this second stamp on this Leach pottery jar? It’s the first one I’ve come across with red slip inside. The mark looks like a circle with three legs in tripod shape.

Pretty sure it's by John Reeve while he was at The Leach Pottery, St Ives in the 60s. Rare piece. An example of his mark for comparison

Naomi is correct.  He was Canadian and was born in Vancouver in 1929 and died in 2012. In the 1960's he did pot in this country for a time after leaving St. Ives and taught at Farnham College of Art too. However he then returned to Canada and became an important name in studio pottery circles there. So it's a nice find.

That’s brilliant thank you. It’s a shame the lid is lost (pots and lids seem to be assigned to boxes entirely randomly, I have some lovely lids with no pots too 🙁)

Use a large cork bung. No one will know the difference :)
