Seem to get a lot like that on here. Well made pieces from the 70's boom in studio pottery that probably originally has a paper label on them which inevitably comes off. Infuriating not to be able to pin them down, especially because they are nearly all of such good quality.

That’s what I thought, thanks for looking. It is a shame, if I could make a pot like that I’d have my name all over it in capital letters!

I follow Leach Pottery tankards and this is a close cousin once removed if you get my meaning, well made. Not seen that dec before.

I agree, not Leach but the influence is there. What’s frustrating is that the two clearly marked Leach tankards in the same box are chipped, this unmarked one is perfect - Sod’s law I suppose!

Looks '70s decoration, so I suspect it's by someone who trained there around that time.
