A provincial pottery water pot with a black (tenmoku) over glaze. Quite a large piece with no real quality other than its rustic charm. Could be a combination of moulded and hand thrown elements. Appears to have a red printed mark on base, but worn. Anyone seen one before and able to comment on its origin/age? Thanks

Lid looks to be press-moulded with added hand-made handle... An every day consumable pot?
