Spotted this in an old auction catalogue. Sold for a bargain price. Is it was one of Bill Fishers'?  
"A 20th century black pottery sculpture of a knight in armour with sword and shield, on horseback, 40cm by 39cm"

It's still biggish but not hoardish
I sold over a hundred pots and gave the same to charity so, between my pottery room and my garage, it's under control
