Red earthenware bowl Empty Red earthenware bowl

I'm as interested in age as much as identity, unlikely as this is to be named. No mark, no label.
My partner thinks this was made in the last 20 odd years or so. I think more like early to mid 20th century.
Any thoughts welcomed thank you.

Possibly by one of the slipware potters like Andy Magarva or Wobage Farm, but also similar to the traditional pottery from Afghanistan-Irag-Iran area

I think I've had one of his tiles before, couple of years back, with a Griffin type creature. Vaguely remember him being based in France. If it is his work I would never have made the connection.
It's quite a charming little thing.
