Re: Bay Keramik
Hi Vicky!
I don't think that you will find closer information about Bay piggy banks (never heard of before that they produced them), but who knows...
Pics would help :-)
Regards
Micha

Bay 294-20 Egyptian pattern
I am guessing that is from Bay but can find no trace anywhere. Any thoughts please on possible date (1970s?) and confirmation of maker if possible. Thanks John

Re: Bay Keramik
I would like to recommend Horst Makus, Keramik der 50er Jahre in German though.
The book is limited to WGP of 1950s until c.1962.
Wouldn´t help you with Bay, D&B etc. of the 1970s.
There are other books / CDs in German and English language, useful for beginners and more advanced collectors as well but i wouldn´t recommend them. Too many mistakes. You could read there e.g. that Bay stopped the production of decorative ceramics in 1971. A serious mistake.
I can prove that this line of production was still alive and well in the 1980s.

Re: Bay Keramik
Thanks for that.
Bit of a problem given that I don't speak (or read) German though.
I'll wait for your answer to Dantheman to see which of the English ones NOT to buy :o)
