Carstens 617-20
I have searched but not found anything similar. I'm sure I saw this green glaze on a vase on ebay a while ago but now I can't seen to find a match for the shape or the colours. Any help much appreciated :)
many thanks

I think? After the great help I received here on the other two, I hope I got this one right? I love this texture and it looks great with the green and red ones.

Re: Bay Keramik
Interesting, again with the curled bit of the Y and the word WEST. Does this signify a certain time range I wonder, because they don't all seem to be marked like that?

Bay Keramik 93 25
Hi, would you know which year/s this was from and who designed it please?
It is very different from my others. I have a jug similar to my other pieces which I will also post next. I was just thinking they seem to be such different designs but perhaps not from differing periods but from alternative designers?
many thanks

A pair of tiny German Jugs, numbered 529.
A pair of tiny pottery German jugs, as you can see in the picture they are marked Germany with the number 529. Each jug measures 7cms in height. I would be grateful for any information about them especially date if possible. Thanks.

Confirmed
Bay #529 / Dekor "Köln", BTW slanted "y"

cf. #529 with a slightly different handle, same base marks,
may be a bit later

Bay for sure. 300 range was reserved for wall vases in the late 1930s and 1950s.

Please note: Bay re-used form numbers and --- decor names.
"Arizona" became later the name of a Selen red glaze.

Correct, form number reads 663-30, decor "Oslo", 1962, the form was produced ca.1962 - 1968.

Yes, a certain time range, WEST-GERMANY on the base (1957) - late 1960s, ´
Bay introduced new base marks about 1966, but old moulds with the WEST-GERMANY mark
were used until 1968 at least.
The WEST-GERMANY dry stamp to the base correlates with the silver or gold foil sticker with BAY and crown
dated 1954 - (1966)

Although I know it's a Bay, it could also double as a vase from Kreutz Keramik.

West German 1950s style cane handled dish. Who made it?
I bought this dish on eBay for 99p a couple of years ago. It is a typical 1950s pale green (eur de nil?) has a textured surface achieved by splattering a slightly darker pale green all over. Stripes in black, dark red & yellow. Cane wrapped handle. Embossed West Germany 926 (I think) on the base. Approx 26cm long, 13cm at widest point. Anyone recognise the maker? Is it 1950s or later? Is it possibly rare?

Re: Bay Keramik
Thanks both. So we think it is Bay, 1950s and not particularly rare. Has Bay been in existence since the 1950s? What sorts of ware did they produce in the 1950s - before the emergence of "fat lava" pots in the 1960s?

Re: Bay Keramik
bowl #926 traceable 1958 , sadly only on black and white pictures,
offered with modern non-objective pattern "Santos" and "Nizza"
the decor of your bowl could be "Nizza", not sure though.
