Can anyone help identify the maker and date of this?
I've messaged the only Master's & Co in London that looked like they'd been around for a while and am waiting to hear back.
As well as what you can see printed, 1925 is pressed into the base - don't know if that is a year or mould number.
And what's that spout groove all about?

Actually, google has just helped me - Bauscher Weiden - but what about that groove?

It looks like the type of things that I used to see years ago that had insulated jackets covered in metal.

Yes. WMF covers apparently. From the photos I've seen, it looks better naked.
