Lime Green Majolica Style Monkey Empty Lime Green Majolica Style Monkey

Can anyone help ID this green monkey Figurine? It is stamped on the base with an impressed (possibly) date mark “1912” but no other marks. It is quite tall at 20cm and is white clay or porcelain body. I haven’t been able to find anything similar yet. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

It could well be Bretby. They did monkeys, they used that colour, and 1912 would
fit as one of their design numbers.
