I dont think it's Chinese. Looks more like late 19thC-early 20thC English or possibly Belgium

It might be Torquay Stapleton ware, or even Bretby/Ault,
but that concave base with the dimple looks odd to me.

The earthenware looks quite Iron rich red of the West Country clays. Torquay? Or one of the North Devon potteries? Circa 20 years either side of 1900?
