Found this wonderful sculpture or figurine a few weeks ago at a local auction, catalogued as unmarked but while photographing it I found an incised mark in one corner which reads "KR93". Haven't beeen able to find anything similar in style and so far drawing a blank with the mark, not even sure which continent it's from even if it appears to be Indian inspired. Thanks in advance.

That is a magnificent beast, wish I owned it.
I can imagine a pair of those making for a great couple of bookends.
Sorry I can't help with ID.

It does look sacred. Lovely piece.
Cows as deities are in various religions. Kamadhenu in Hindu, Hathor in Egypt, perhaps even the Minotaur in Crete.
I wonder if it is a high end tourist piece? Egypt might be a thought with their long and flourishing tourist trade.
Equally, Britain had several centuries of ruling India. Lots of keepsakes came back. There are lot of Hnidus living in Britain
