Langley Ware was a brand name of the Derbyshire pottery Lovatt & Lovatt started 1895. This piece is very high victorian and probably

The mark is the "Langle ware" mark used 1883-90.
impressed 23 is the shape/size code.
Impressed G is the decorator's mark.
Incised 23 is the glaze code (Salmon).
Other incised numbers are design/decoration codes.
The gold 4 is the gilder's mark.
These jardinieres were produced in large quantities at this time, and are fairly
common survivours, despite their age.
