1.5 HOUR Video HENRY ROTHSCHILD Memorial lecture featuring Sandy Brown as Guest speaker at the Shipley Art Gallery. The Shipley Art Gallery has a superb and very comprehensive Studio Pottery collection. Based on the gift of Henry Rothschild who was a post-war major dealer, gallery owner, exhibition curator and founder of the famed Primavera gallery. The collection has recently been supplemented by that of John Christian, another major collector. Some of the collection can be seen from the start of the video. Guess the Pots!
Guest Speaker was Sandy Brown the renowned ceramicist. Well worth watching for anybody interested in studio pottery
