Cyprus vase
The vase is made of red clay and quite well made. 4 1/4'' tall. It is signed to the base, not sure about the first part but it looks like: dru, obru, abu? second word is either Cyprus or Cymru.
Judging by the style I'm placing my bet on the Mediterranean option. Would that be a tourist ware or a studio piece?

Re: Cyprus vase
Yes, I love it too. However it is so delicate I've already smashed one of the handles Luckily enough I've kept all the pieces and spent one evening restoring it, as you can see on the pictures it still displays well

Re: Cyprus vase
Yes, it's Cyprus. There's an incense burner on ebay (completed listing) with the same mark on the base and blue glaze. Possibly from Lemba.
Re: Cyprus vase
Thanks Naomi, I have found only 2 Lemba signatures so cannot be 100% sure but it does look like Lemba.

Re: Cyprus vase
The first word may be a village name, but unfortunately I can't read it.

Re: Cyprus vase
I don't think that this is Lemba (I have a few), wrong clay and signature.
