I am trying to identify if this is an early bowl and where it might have been made. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has a South American look to me but I am no expert in such things.

Ethnographic pottery, imo. Possibly Cyprus or India or anywhere in between. Best to ask a museum like the Ashmolian

I've seen very similar designs at pots in the Huge Nicosia Museum in Cyprus...
