A small Palshus vase with a "haresfur" glaze from the 1950s. The studio was set up in 1948 by Per and Annelise Linneman-Schmidt. In the period up to about 1960 they made simple, unadorned pots with this type of glaze and are very beautiful to look at and hold. Later pieces were often carved and more chunky with thick, rough textured glazes more typical of Scandinavian ceramics in that decade.
